Arrival at Dubai airport. Transfer to hotel and overnight.

In the morning, there is a chance to take an optional half day excursion to Old Dubai, which will give us a glimpse of the ancient city of Dubai. We will visit the Bastakiya area with its old merchants’ houses, galleries, restaurants and cafes. Continuing with a panoramic tour outside the fortress-shaped Dubai Museum (the museum is closed). Then, we’ll board an “Abra” (river taxi) to get a sense of the atmosphere of the other side of the inlet. We will continue to the exotic and aromatic Spice Souk and the world’s most famous gold bazaars. The tour ends and we return to the hotel. Chance to have an optional dinner on board a typical “Dhow,” a traditional boat used up to the 1970s to transport goods from neighboring countries to the Emirates, sailing along the Dubai Creek where you can enjoy the spectacular views of the grand illuminated buildings. These so-called “ships of the desert” have been an essential element of the UAE’s heritage.

On the way to Abu Dhabi, you will pass through Jebel Ali and its Free Zone - the largest man-made port in the world. On arrival in Abu Dhabi, visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which is the third largest mosque in the world with a capacity of up to 40,000 people. Continue your visit by heading to the modern AL BATEEN area, the site of the Palaces of the Emirati Sheikhs, and pass by the presidential Palace of the current Sheikh, which was also the residence of Sheikh Zayed, and continue to the seaside promenade known as “the Corniche” where you can take panoramic pictures of the city of Abu Dhabi, then enjoy a panoramic view outside the “Emirates Palace” hotel. With a 7-star rating, it is the most luxurious hotel in the world. Then, visit the presidential palace of Qasr Al Watan. Lunch at an Intercontinental luxury hotel. Entry to the Louvre Museum. Return to Dubai hotel and overnight.
